Last Day Helping Homeless

Jumbled Dreams, Making a Difference, Teens Making a Difference

Echos for Hope last event was very bittersweet. We had such a great time helping the homeless that day. Laughing, dancing, and passing out everything we had was amazing but the fact that was our last event before summer was sad.

We have had so much fun this year and helped so many people but this last day was so special. It was just 6 of us that day and a few parents. We unloaded the car and walked all out stuff to our table we were setting up. We started to put things on the table and within seconds they would be gone. The next time we looked everything was gone. In a blink of an eye as most people would say.

It was also Cinco de Mayo and the church was serving Spanish food and then had some Spanish music so we all had a fun time talking and dancing with our friends, and let me tell you some of them can really dance!

Sam, my best friend, and I had the best time walking around and getting to know these two funny guys. We learned so much about them and they gave us some good advice. Who knew that the homeless could be giving advice? We talked to them for almost an hour before leaving.

I am so thankful for my friends and family and for their support of Jumbled Dreams!
