Every day we use some type of school supply whether it be a pencil to write something down or a stapler to keep our papers together. And we may take for granted the supplies we use every day, while others have little to none of the supplies they need.
Operation Homefront is an organization that helps military families with insurance, housing, food, and anything the families need
including school supplies for the children. A lot of times there is only one parent at home because the other parent is deployed and it may be difficult to afford school supplies.
School supplies can be expensive! That’s where Operation Homefront comes in by partnering with the Dollar Tree Stores across the United States to collect school supplies!
Sydnee, our founder, and other volunteers picked up, counted, sorted, and packed school supplies for the military kids at Fort Knox and Fort Campbell!
Something so common as school supplies can be so life-changing.
