Charlotte was born with a cleft lip and palate and had to have multiple surgeries when she was younger. When she was in the hospital everyone was so nice to her and she received toys to make her feel comfortable. So now, with her new smile, she wants to make other kids happy by making dolls for them!
Now 10 years old, Charlotte sews each doll HERSELF! Isn’t that amazing? She delivers the dolls to the hospitals, if possible, and even the parents feel comforted! Each doll is sewn with lots of love and individually made and tailored to be a spin-off of the recipient with similar traits (hair color, eye color, clothing styles, etc.).
Charlotte lives by the Chinese Proverb, “Use your smile to change the world; don’t let the world change your smile.”
