Introducing Our New Partner: FIER Atlanta

Meet our NEW partner FIER Atlanta and their founder Robbie!

Robbie J. Atkinson, is a Film Director, Editor, and CEO of RPX Media Production as well as the founder of the Foundation for Inter-Ethnic Restoration [aka FIER; pronounced “fire.] After obtaining her M.A. in Digital Production from Georgia State University (2018), she founded FIER in 2020 amidst the countless protests against police brutality and rampant xenophobia stemming from the COVID 19 pandemic. From there, she assembled a diverse team of volunteers and researchers from countries like Nigeria, China, Bangladesh, Turkey and Dubai to help FIER reach its community and achieve its mission. FIER’s general mission is to bring ethnic communities together, address racial trauma through education about racial literacy and fostering community engagement by hosting events that encourage open/inclusive discussion.

The Foundation for Inter-Ethic is a 501c(4) nonprofit organization that extends resources in the form of various types of remediation to ethnic groups impacted by racism. We believe that gathering together to foster difficult conversations about race and pain can help bridge the gap between communities. Through our live-stream discussions, events and art-based workshops, we provide a safe, inclusive space for communities to share their experiences without racial gaslighting, racial trauma or even ask questions exploring allyship and compassion in order to collectively discuss how to overcome racial trauma as a society. Overall, our organization seeks to establish respect and solidarity between communities by shedding light on how racism and implicit bias informs our interactions.
