Spirit night! When you hear those words you probably think about schools and their spirits nights, but what about one that helps raise money for charity? We had the best opportunity in the world on April 15th! Chick-Fil-A Thoroughbred Square in Franklin TN allowed us to have a spirit night there!
At Chick-Fil-A spirit night you invite the community to come and support your charity. Not knowing too many people, we invited who we knew and then we talked to the customers as they came into the store that night.
Of course, some people didn’t want to know about Jumbled Dreams but most people were very respectful and wanted to help! To do that all they had to do was tell the register they were supporting spirit night. Talking to many people that night we felt we did a great job of spreading the word about Jumbled Dreams.
It was fun to meet people and hear their stories and have people want to volunteer with us! One little girl we met was celebrating her birthday and she got a balloon, she was so excited! I later got a picture with her and it was so sweet! I love meeting new people and talking to them!
The money we raised from that night was used to help the homeless. It was great to see them smile when they received their toiletries bought with Chick-Fil-A spirit funds!
