Basic Shelter in Kentucky

Jumbled Dreams, CHanging Lives, Homelessness

Just like all states, Kentucky has a large population of homeless people.  For the month of February, I donated to a homeless shelter in Jessamine County KY.

Shelter is one of the basic needs for survival and there are more homeless people than shelters.  Those who cannot find a bed in a shelter find themselves sleeping in many different places: in empty houses, under bridges, on park benches, or in tents set-up in abandoned lots.
