VOTE Sydnee For Strobel Award Winner

Each year Mary Catherine Strobel, a community volunteer who tirelessly helped those in need, is remembered by her family with the Mary Catherine Strobel Volunteer Awards. There are several categories of volunteerism recognized. This year Sydnee Floyd has been chosen as one of the award finalists in the category of Direct Service – Youth Volunteer!
Through the organization she founded when 13 years old, Jumbled Dreams Changing Lives, Sydnee identifies various volunteer opportunities and then recruits young people, educating them on how they can change lives through volunteer service in the hope they will continue service throughout their lives. She also organized a club, Echoes of Hope, at her high school to get even more students involved in charitable causes.
During 2020 through Jumbled Dreams and Echoes of Hope, Sydnee clocked hundreds of hours helping twenty different organizations and several thousand individuals. In total 28,272 items were collected, packed and donated! Those helped ranged from needy school children, tornado victims, the homeless and the needy.
