Welcome to Season 2 of Let’s Talk Dreams! In episode 4 I am excited to welcome Alyssa! She is a dynamic and versatile professional known for her grant coordination, writing, and arts education expertise. With a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a Master’s in Urban Studies, Alyssa has over a decade of experience working with childcare centers and camps, where she has honed her skills in curriculum development, program management, and community engagement.
Alyssa is currently the Grant Coordinator for Belmont University, where she excels in securing funding to support vital programs. Her keen ability to craft compelling narratives has made her a sought-after writer for grants, resumes, cover letters, and educational materials. Her passion for education extends to her role as a facilitator for adult writing classes, where she inspires others to harness their writing potential.
In addition to her grant work, Alyssa is deeply involved in the arts community. She is developing a theologically sound arts-based curriculum for Gen Z and Alphas and contributes to various creative projects, including arts festivals. Her work with the Creative Arts Collective and other initiatives reflects her commitment to using the arts as a transformative tool for personal and community growth.
Alyssa is also a devoted mother, drawing inspiration from her personal experiences to connect with others. Her leadership, creativity, and dedication to making a positive impact are evident in all aspects of her work.
