When I sat down with Judy, the leader of Southland Stewart, I was nervous. You always see lawyers and they are so business-like, and she was no exception, however, she also showed me that she cared so much for our community. She quickly agreed to help us raise items for our community. She sent the whole list to all her employees and over the next couple of weeks, they were able to raise over 700 items! Those donations were able to help over 700 people this holiday season.
They also donated paper boxes. As a title agency, they go through a large amount of paper so with the help of those empty boxes it made it easier for us to store and transport all our toiletry and winter kits downtown.
