What is your story?
My son was physically bullied and since that has drastically changed him, he has severe anxiety no friends and it’s a hassle to get him to leave the house , I homeschool him currently and have him playing outside he likes air soft so he has some interaction his escape is gaming we sought counseling which is a battle and have a long road ahead of us and I am hopeful we see the light at the end of tunnel soon, my son use to be the friendliest child ever, he is now more reserved, only will leave the house when he absolutely has too, he is depressed and does not trust. When he was being physically bullied he would come home with baseball bruises and I DIDNT know at the time and ask him what happened he would make up something he finally started telling me the next year he would be tripped in the school yard, pushed down couldn’t sit with anyone at lunch this was a private school I went to school every day sat with the principal the parents etc, nothing ever helped I switched schools and m it was a awful experience he missed a lot due to having medical issues it was awful experiences so I now homeschool my son as I am a single mom (his dad left me when I found out I was pregnant and never been around since) I work full time and come home and homeschool my son, he is doing better with his grades brought them back up (he use to be straight A student went down to D) , I wanted to join this group as I seen it’s a amazing organization an share similarities within. I am moving to the south god willing within the year . We are from Rhode Island. Thank you so much for all for reading xo
What can you tell others who are going through the similar things?
Keep your head up be strong and talk to family, counselor and receive all the help you can, do not let a bully get the best of you!
